Question about core cover combo?
« on: January 15, 2008, 04:33:13 AM »
I seem to notice alot of med-dry lane balls have higher RG values to negate the somewhat strong cover.  My question is, wouldn't a low RG core inside of a weak cover create a nice even arcing read of med-dry lanes?  Or would it creat more of a skid flip reaction?  What I would like is something I could get inside with on drier conditions, something with the length of say a Neptune but with a nice hard arc on the backend.  My Neptune arcs but not as sharply as I would like on most conditions.

So are there any balls out currently with this type of core cover combo?

Have you tried a Venus?  Same core, stronger cover.
