At the house where I currently bowl league, they have started oiling the lanes about 2 hours before we get underway.  My question is, does oiling the lanes that early have any effect on the conditions?  Some bowlers seem to feel that the oil doesn't make it to the 3rd game most of the time.  Any truth to that?  Thanks
