Spinners...
« on: January 25, 2005, 05:26:04 AM »
By looking at my track, one would think that I would be a spinner. There is a video of a spinner release on some site like ourworld.compuserve something and I dont come around the top of the ball nearly as much as they do. Also, my ball hooks a decent amount. Could I be partially spinning the ball and, in result, reducing the total hook I get out of the ball?

A question out of the blue, does tenpinspro spin the ball at all or do something different than most other releases? Because he seems to have more than 90 degrees of rotation? (is that the right word), he looks to be pulling the ball so that it is spinning almost an extra 45 degrees past the 90 degree mark? Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what it looks like and that's what I feel I am doing, pulling the ball back towards me almost.

Does anyone else have a spinner's release or semi-spinner's release video that they could post? Or even a different site that shows something like a spinner release.

kingpin268 -- The site below has very short videos of releases for a stroker, a cranker, and a spinner.  --  JohnP

I already knew about that site but thanks anyway. Does anyone have any personal spinner or semi-spinner videos they'd like to share?
