For the last 2 weeks my carry% has been putrid.  I don't believe I am doing anything different.  I'm just getting tapped to death.  Monday night I had nine 10 pins, three 7 pins, two 9's and an 8.  I left the entire back row the first game.  Tonight was much the same minus the first game.  Seven 10 pins, a 7, and three stone 9's.  

I've never been an advocate of moving half boards or inches since I know I'm not accurate enough for it to matter.  Is there a more significant change that one can make without giving up the pocket?  I'm not afraid of changing balls or making a large move, but it's hard to convince yourself to change something when you are ripping the pocket.

Yea posted about the same thing, 2 weeks ago. Was about my Shift, seemed as if it wasn't hitting at all. All I did was slow my approach down and slow my speed down, and just sped the ball up as the night went on. Shot 666, 676 and 633(on the worst carrying pair in the house). This was on wood lanes. So just try slowing down, should do the trick, well it did for me. As far as the synthetic lanes I bowled on tonight, mind i've been struggling all year on them(211 average). Ripping the pocket all night long and I've had 13 strikes in the past 2 weeks shooting 533 and 525. Thank god I'm a good spare shooter. I've had a bad reaction all year on those lanes, goes from hooking to just immense carry down. All my equipment is polished except for my mayhem which just hits with no power at all. Shift wouldn't make a good move to the pocket unless i hit outside of 4. Oh yea forgot it was your problem we were talking about. LOL
