It's always a good idea to have a 2nd target further down lane. For me, it becomes easier to discover transition of the pattern before it's too late. Being more precise by having two targets can only help a bowler.
Many times league bowlers know exactly where they are "aiming" but when I ask them where they slid they haven't a clue. Knowing where you slide and where your first target is kinda takes care of that second target (assuming consistent ball speed). If I am wrong on this I hope someone would give me their insight. Thanks.
