Do you have trouble hitting your target consistently?
« on: April 11, 2011, 06:13:49 AM »
Hi All.
Previously, I addressed the topic of using a targeting system.  But why do we sometimes still have trouble even when we know what to do?
This article touches on a couple of areas, some of which I pull from my own personal experience around body positioning and backswing.  I figure that it may be an area that others may have struggled with and sometimes not realized.

Have a read and let me know what you think.

Thanks.

It's always a good idea to have a 2nd target further down lane. For me, it becomes easier to discover transition of the pattern before it's too late. Being more precise by having two targets can only help a bowler.

Many times league bowlers know exactly where they are "aiming" but when I ask them where they slid they haven't a clue. Knowing where you slide and where your first target is kinda takes care of that second target (assuming consistent ball speed).  If I am wrong on this I hope someone would give me their insight. Thanks.

It's back up.  It looks like the host was temporarily down last night.
Thanks.
