Time Off Helps?

Howdy, This Past Summer I Didn't Bowl A Single Time And I Come Back To Saturday Morning League (im a youth) And Shot 552 My First Week And Then 668 Last Week...So I Guess I Am Asking Has Anyone Else Taken A Break From Bowling To Return And Feel Like Your Bowling The Best You Ever Have?

OH! I Finished Last Year Averaging 187....

It sometimes happens to me that I bowl great after a long hiatus.  I seem to lose my bad habits faster than my good ones.  It doesn't always work that way though, and certainly shouldn't be expected.

I've never come back and been in midseason form, but I always come back refreshed and ready to bowl again.  I didn't bowl all summer for various reasons, I started about 3 weeks ago practicing to get ready for league.  The first few sessions were horrid. But when I bowled Sunday, I threw four games, not counting hte first (that was my warm up) I had one open in 3 games.  I'm exciting and ready for the arrows to come up tomorrow nite.

I usally bowl well the first time and bad the next but then after that i am good. I did bowl a couple games the weeks coming up to the league.
