Charlest, no punch line here. Rich can throw (with accuracy) anywhere between (approx) 14 to 21 (or more) MPH. He has more revs than me, but is by no means a power player. Normally has a lot of tilt, not a lot of rotation, but can vary both. As I said, the guy is flat out good - enormously versatile. To illustrate, he shot a 3-6 with his Goliath and threw it so straight that he whistled by the 3 pin. Interesting thing is that a lot of balls that hook out of other folks hand won't hook a lot for him, but the opposite is also true. As to oil I covered that - heavy, 40 foot crown; the basic shot is somewhere between 11 and 14 (depends on what lane, normally I'm playing about 11). He used the Bully and the Goliath on the same night, same league - Goliath first game, Bully second and, say what you will, the Bully was at least 10 boards the stronger of the two. The move on the Bully was amazing - at about 20 feet it was hooking (in the oil) and (as I said) seemed to hesitate slightly when it came out of oil into dry, then continued hooking. As to not enough oil for the Goliath, well, I'm using my SCB and hooking the ball about the same as the Goliath - it comes back with plenty of oil rings. I don't know the units - it's not a true flood, but it's heavy enough that most stuff, played inside, skids until it hits dry.
