Do you remember your first bowling ball?

I do. It was a plastic ball Brunswick. It was red swirly. Conventional grip. No inserts of any kind.
I was 12 or 13, I forget. But I do remember putting a pillow at the end of the hallway and making my own "lane" so that I could practice. The ball put little burn spots on the carpet, hehe.
Man, I remember how much I loved that ball. I'd clean it when it was already clean. The good ol' days!

Mine was a plastic 14lb red Budweiser ball with white lettering, drilled finger tip with no grips. My high with it was 235 and I had it given to me back when I was 13 or so.

A 14 lb. black Manhattan Rubber drilled semi-fingertip. Later graduated to a 16 lb. Columbia caramel white dot, fingertip no less! Boy could I hook that monster!

10 lb Columbia 300 White Dot (grey charcoal color one from the early 90's) drilled conventional grip. I had it plugged and redrilled to learn throwing the fingertip grip.

First time Jr bowler in 1961 Brunswick Crown Jewel Black followed by a Gold flake Crown Jewel. Sure wish I kept the gold one. Worth BIG BUCKS now I bet!!!!!. 44 years later, former PBA, Storm, The BOWLERS Company, gets it done for me.
