I won't post this persons name but these are just a few of his honors scores per USBC. Things just don't add up. There's credit for a 800 series but not for the eleven in a row and credit for a 300 but not for the 800 twice. All of this in less than a week. The dates are supposed to be the date bowled so don't respond by saying maybe someone forgot to turn in the paperwork.

11 strikes in a row 299,278,258,837     USBC     5/29/2008     Coconut Bowl
800 series        299,279,258,836    USBC    5/29/2008    Coconut Bowl

Fero and Gohagan are probably 2 of the best in the county. They drove from dayton just to bowl a league here in indy last year. Fero has the record for most 300 and 800 in a season. Gohagan has an 899 video on youtube heres some video of each.

Fero:

last time I talked to him he was on Big B staff

Gohagan:

Gohagan throws a lot of storm stuff.

Whoever was shooting the Gohagan video was horrible...missed filming 2 of the shots completely. And whoever was yelling in the background after 35 probably cost him the 36th by yelling like that...yeeesh.

he must wear headphones.. cause some lady sneezed super loud on one of his shots and it didn''t phase him.. I think I would have had to start over..

I would also think the two best league bowlers in the country would have a little better form than they do.. I guess it is just about repeating shots and if you can do it , it doesn''t matter what form you have...

Coconut Bowl was the toughest house in the area until late 2007, when they put in new lane panels, new tight sidewalls and the best ,lively, pindecks. They then immediately turned into , perhaps, the easiest house in the nation! Super easy to get to the pocket and the best carry I''ve ever seen. It is owned by one of the Harrah''s grandchildren( of Harrah''s Casinos fame) and money for maintenance and the best of everything is NO problem! Unlike most bowling centers that operate on a tight budget. I know, I shot the ONLY 300 shot there in 2005, and there were no 800''s. Now they are shot weekly, and yes, they are USBC compliant! It just shows how important having the best panels, kickbacks, and pindecks can be to scoring. Before the changes, horrible carry and worst carrydown on the old. first generation lane panels ,than I have ever seen!

IMO houses like that suck. Bowlers that come out of houses like that think they should always have a shot that easy and actually beleive they are as good as they scores they put up.

What are the names of the lanemen in that center? They certainly deserve some of the credit but nobody ever mentions them.
