I asked this question a while back.  Doc said it was safe to use.  I felt the treatment would be redundent or maybe the two "system" for dealing with oil might be counterproductive.  The Soaker covers are the only non polished balls that I don't use the Elixir on.

Doc's Elixir is used because oil absorption affects normal bowling balls. Since oil does not affect the Soaker coverstock, it makes no sense to use. It's a waste of money, time and effort and has not proved efficacious on the Soaker coverstock.

So, the question is why do you want to do this?
Why would you even do this?

Have a look in the D/T section. New guy said that they work in different ways.
Soaker coverstock actually soaks up the oil then disipates it while Docs stops the ball soaking it up.
He said he felt that it wasnt neccasary and therefore I've not put any on my Thing Return and as yet (40 games) Ive not noticed any change.
I just clean it after every series as normal.
