Does a ball rev up?
« on: February 10, 2004, 07:51:47 PM »
I have a question that's come to mind as I've used my new Inferno for about 20-30 games now.  With this ball I notice that the ball really revs up and seems to turn more revolutions in the midlane than my other balls.  I practiced the other day with both my Inferno and my Viscious Particle, and there was a pronounced difference.  While my Inferno seems to rev up in the midlane and continue that through the pocket, my Viscious Particle seems very slow to rev up, almost not gaining any revolutions or speed til it turns over to the pocket.  My question is this...is this something I'm doing differently with my release, or is it a product of the ball?  Do different balls rev differently?  Wouldn't one always want a ball that revs up better?
