Does any companies out there make a high rg, high diff. ball with a very aggressive cover anymore? It seems if you find one, the cover's alway weak.

AMF Justice solid is one of the highest I have seen: RG-2.56, RG Diff-.045. (The 15 lb ball may have a  lower RG; most published specs are for 16 lb balls for all manufacturers. 15 lb balls are almost always lower, some a lot lower.)

I believe the new Intense Inferno in 15 lb, has the RG starting about 2.57, but I can't verify that right now.
Brunswick Goliath (for 16 lbs) starts out RG min 2.54 to Max 2.59.
For 15 lbs balls, Rg=2.56 min, to 2.60 max.

Visionary had some high RG, HUGE RG differential in the Warlock DC Tour model; in the range of 2.58 with .070 - .080 differential. It is discontinued, but can be found.

Theres an NIB Synergy ETS on Ebay right now, 2.63 RG, .070 diff.  That and the Aftershock are 2 of the last all-out high RG and Diff power packs i can remember being made. Just about everything else high in RG went back into the 2.50's after that.

Hey Twister,

I feel the Track Animal offers the closest specs that fall into your criteria, rg-2.53 diff-.055 and it has an "aggresssive cover" vs most balls in this range being more for medium conditions.  Out of box, this ball still gets down the lane quite a bit with a lot of backend.  Hope this helps...

While we're not sure what conditions twister is looking for.....I would never consider the Animal medium ootb unless it's drilled to get down the lane a little.

I popped the Apocalypse in there at 2.54-.055 and it's solid/pearl mix strong cover and 1500 ootb finish...definately a medium strong ball.....

but the Animal 'could' definately fit the bill w/ a proper drilling...

Twister......any condition you're looking to concquer?

Hey Jeff,

Got two different looks that came through with the Animal.  Early batches actually had a shine to them OOB but it wasn't until the later batches that they started looking more sheen/matte.  I drilled a few with the shiny cover and they went pretty long bud, I still have a 14(mine) that looks shiny sitting in a box waiting to be drilled.  Hmmmm, you just gave me an idea...until I get the Rule, this may be just what I'm looking for this weekend, thanks Jeff!

Its really not the conditions that bother me, I have a lot of revs, medium+ speed, but I'm through the back of the ball with not very much axis tilt. So I look for higher rgs to help with length, high diff. for more track flare, and an aggressive coverstock to help turn the corners. Low and even medium rg balls seem to burn up too quickly, even polished. And yes, I've tried to come around the ball more but my scoring and ability to throw the ball accurately dropped quickly.
