Brian bowled exceptionally well to make the telecast.  Being a previous winner of the tournament I expected him advance to the final match, but a 153 is not going to win matches.  It looked like he should of made a ball change or changed lines early in the match. Does anyone know what ball and drilling he used?

Brian's all had the pin over the bridge.  Couldn't see the CG of course, but he pin was pretty apparent when he picked up the ball before one of his shots.

Brian bowled great all week using a Big Bully - box condition with pin up near the ring finger. For the show, Columbia drilled him a couple of new balls and I believe the one he was using on the show - at least to start with had the pin under the ring finger. Unfortunately his week ended with that bad game on tv - I don't think he ever did get comfortable. It looked like they were all having trouble with the approaches.

He definitely looked shell-shocked to me!!  I can't imagine being in his position, let alone in that setting!!  I don't care how good/great a bowler you are, that arena setting on an even bigger stage is gonna get to you at least a little!!

are you guys 100% sure he was using a big bully? I have one and it doens't look anything like the ball he was using. To me it looked like a throttle up..

I would like to know if anyone knows for sure what he was using.. I never could get a look at the logo on TV..

Throttle Up has more orange in it...maybe it was a Shock??  I'm pretty sure it was a Big Bully though, the reaction just looked so strong that it had to be.

the big bully has red writing on it and that ball for sure had orange writing, plus the coloring did not look like the big bully that I have..

That does not mean he used a big bully on television.. It just means he used it during the qualifying, whcih has been verifed by someone that attended the event.. I still say he was not using a big bully on TV.. I could be wromg but that ball looked more orangish than red..

When I first saw the ball I thought it was a Shock. But the Big Bully and Shock are so similar in colors...I dunno.

Why don't we just call and ask?

You know what?  WHO CARES!!  It's not like he did anything with the ball, so why does it matter?

Let's just say it was TBU's magic orb, and he couldn't control it's power so he lost.

it couldn't be the shock, cause the shock has white writing...and the ball he threw had reddish-orange...I think I saw the bully logo on the side once too, but not sure of that
