Lefthanded drill, pin is 5 inches away from left finger hole. Pin is no longer there, now in that spot is a counter hole.

I was just wondering what drilling this is and how aggressive a drilling it is. All responses will be appreciated.

You have to know your PAP (positive axis point) to be sure.  The cg location would also help as V12 said.  Anyway, if the pin is 5" outside ou your ring finger, it has to be a very early rolling drill.  Since a weighthole is drilled into the pin, I might assume it's a pin axis drill.  Early rolling and very stable.  Should get very little flare or backend.  Usually reserved for big handed players looking for control on fried backends.

No matter, this would be a pretty weak drill.  Pin close to/on axis point, will reduce the flare to almost none if any.  Could be pretty good for a wet/dry condition, or playing the gutter.  That is when I use similar type layouts.

the cg is 2 and 1/4inches above thumb
and 1 and 1/2 inches left of thumb

both measurements were taken from center of thumb hole.
Dont know how to get the PAP. I got the ball used (2 games) and the lay out fit my hand perfectly.

To find your PAP, take a clean, dry low flaring ball (plastic is ideal) and throw a strike shot.  When it comes back, trace the oil line closest to your thumb and finger holes with a grease pencil.  Put the ball in an ashtray with the line parallel to the table and your thumb and finger holes above the line.  The very top of the ball should be your PAP.  Put a 1” piece of tape (contrasting color) there.  Throw the ball again.  If the tape stays stable the first 15-20’ of the lane, you’ve found it.  It might take a little tweaking to get it just right.  The measurement of the PAP is taken from your grip center.  Measure straight over from your grip center to the spot just above/below the tape, then measure up or down again to the center of the tape.  A typical measurement is 5” over, 1” up.
