As an old guy (in my mid 40's) I do the following stretches before I bowl:
1. Stand on the edge of the approaches with heels dangling off and lift body up and down several times to stretch out the ankles and calf muscles.
2. I do deep knee bends to stretch out my legs.
3. I strectch out my back doing toe touches.
4. To streatch out my bowling arm, I swing the ball several good time front to back and then sideways arround my back and then over my head both frontside and backside.
I do a couple of each of those everytime. It takes me about 2:00 but when I light come on my first ball is good for evaluating the condition. I to do 1/2 speed to more clearly identify the length of oil and pattern.
