DEFFINITLY get it plugged and redrilled. Its not good to use other peoples pitches and spans, it will hurt your hand. Get your hand measure by a good pro shop and let them redrill the ball.

Nope. Drilling effects the core, plugging doesnt. Its fine man, thats what everyone does when they need stuff changed. I have a crapload of plugged balls.

It will but barely.  If you're paranoid about it, just remember that you're messing with the core just by drilling holes in it, so it won't make any difference if you have it plugged.  Don't worry, just plug it.

Take it to a pro-shop and they will take care of it for you.

Uh........yes, i've gotten something drilled before.  YOu don't plug it yourself, just take it back to the pro shop where you had it drilled and tell them the span is wrong and you want it changed.

well if you are not sure about your grip specs, i'd get them checked again. cant hurt. that way at least if there is something that needs to be changed he can change it and make the ball more comfortable for you.

yes just take the ball you like the most and have them copy that span and etc. Your pro shop will handle it.
