Donkee replacement parts
« on: May 22, 2024, 05:57:48 PM »
I have a very old Donkee ball spinner. The threaded rod that feeds from the under side of the ball cup to the bottom of the spinner where the large belt pulley attaches has gotten pretty worn from over time. The "flat spot" where the set screw clamps down is worn enough that I constantly have to flip it over and try to tighten the heck out of it in an attempt to keep it from slipping. Any idea on where to find a replacement or any kind of fix to attempt?

I'm probably one of the few old heads that also owns an old Donkee spinner. I might be able to help if you posted a picture of what you're talking about. My spinner is just a 1 speed and fairly simple to operate. Hit me back!

It might not be the best view assembled but maybe you can see where the top of where the flat edge on the threaded rod is worn. If I had to guess, it's molded into the ball cup.

Wow, had to shrink the heck out of it for the file size restriction. May have to do that another way. If you can't see what I'm talking about I can try another way.

You might find a compatible threaded rod at a hardware store like Home Depot or Lowe's. Match the size, length, and threading as closely as possible.
