Drifting
« on: May 25, 2008, 08:42:37 AM »
I make consistant shots but I find that on the pba shot I tend to not be as pin point accurate.I think I have a inconsistant drift which might create a different angle each shot. Im was wondering if anybody has any drills that may help me walk straighter.

After needing to think on what some people have done to help stop drifting or to control it I have finally recalled it. I have heard of having someone walk next to you to control your side movement. For example if you want to go straight they stand right next to you, if you want to move only a couple boards they start two boards away and stay online and allow you to move into them but they don't move. That's what I have heard some people trying. I have also heard people just putting a towel or something on the approach to stop next to. What I have done is just really work on walking straight. I will try to really look at my target and not get further away from it. That has helped me I use to drift around 8 boards and for the most part I am down to just a couple now. Hope this helps.
