« on: July 26, 2013, 04:37:03 AM »
Most times During league (pretty much after the First game) the lanes get bashed and my sync is wanting to take off on me so looking to buy a new ball for both my wife and I. And was gonna get some suggestions something for med-dry conditions.
Thanks

You need to ball down. Sync high performance drop down to a mid price level for tamer reaction for drier lanes

I would look at the hyroad pearl, freakin frantic, or lights out from storm or the deranged from roto grip.  just of the top of my head.  not knowing any other specs on your game.

Seimic Long Horn might be a good choice.

Save yourself a few bucks and look at the 900 Global Hook, Ebonite Cyclone, C300 Freeze or Brunswick Strike King(Or Karma if your pro shop still has them). This is the sweet spot of the new ball market when you consider the price you pay for the performance of the ball.

+1 on the Strike King!

Many of the other balls listed could be very difficult to control if the lanes get truly fried.  I'd make a BIG step down, because on the dry the entry level stuff will be your friend.  Don't assume price and performance are related... On the dry the "weaker" balls will carry extremely well when the more aggressive stuff hooks early and quits.

Take a look at the Freeze---pearl, hybrid, or solid. All specs are pretty close. Like Milo suggests, any ball in the Freeze line is a good buy. You get good performance at an attractive price.

I would look at either the Deranged -- or for lighter oil the Scream (pearl) or Shout ( solid) from Roto Grip --- excellent gear for the $
