Drifting on Approach
« on: June 02, 2009, 02:04:10 AM »
Hey Everybody,

So last night in PBA league, I was talking to some of the better bowlers I'm friendly with and they noticed that I'm an inconsistent drifter on my approach.  For example, one frame I'll be dead straight, then drift 3 boards left, 5 left, 3 left, none, 1 left, etc.  It's always to the left when I do drift too.  But, what I want to accomplish is a consistent approach that is the same frame to frame.  I don't care if I do drift a few boards left, but repetition is my goal.  What do you guys do to ensure your approach is consistent from shot to shot and day to day?

Stop the "pitchers" at league?!

Just kidding ....

Go practice and figure out what you're doing, and where 'basically' you end up MOST of the time.  As long as you know where you drift, you'll be fine
