Title: drill angle
Post by: 12XSECH on September 01, 2013, 11:30:17 AM
With a dual angle layout what is best for a low track bowler to read the mids better?
Low pin low angle? My league avg is 221, sport condition 200. I have med revs ball speed 15. Four 300 games, but struggle on the sport conditions. With the season coming up looking for a new ball perhaps Endless Nightmare or maybe IQ pearl. I have great success with DV8 Nightmare Terror and the Nightmare but both have a lot of game on them.

In general for sport shots, I think you would want to increase your val angle and reduce the drill angle.  From what I have found you want a ball that is a little smoother and more predictable.

I would probably go with a control layout or midliane layout but at 4 to 4 1/2 pin to pap.  Would also depend a lot on the sport pattern length.
