Lane 1 has the Liberator, or whatever it is called.  If you're looking for a Urethane, go on eBay and get one super cheap.

There are a few in recent years.  There's been a Groove Urethane for quite a while, got a basic pancake weight block in it.  Likewise the new AMF Black Angle is a pancake urethane ball.

For real cores, the XXL from Lane 1 and black Pure Hammer are discontinued but a thorough search might turn one up on the Internet somewhere.  The Slate Blue Gargoyle is more recently discontinued and I don't think it's that hard to find just yet.  The XXL and SBG are both pearl urethanes.  Hammer also made a Red Pearl Hammer urethane ball until the not-so-distant past, but I think it had a pancake core in it.

Current-line balls, you're looking at the Liberator, Groove Urethane, and Black Angle.  In terms of oil-handling, the current Neptune from Rotogrip and Power Groove Dry/R from Brunswick should fill the same slot that a urethane would.

Yes, AMF is currently making a remake of the classic Black Angle. (3-piece urethane)

Available online through many vendors, including Buddies Pro Shop, Bowling.com, & Bowlers Paradise.

The Slate Blue Gargoyle is not in production anymore, but it is a great ball. Brunswick still has the Urethane Groove, a pancake ball with a very smooth reaction.

Lane #1's Liberator is also a current product, but it is spoosued to be pretty strong, a lot more ball than old school uerthanes like the Faball Hammers. The same goes for Hammers Pure Hammers, which have benn discontinued for some years - these are raectives that "mock" an urethane reaction. Also pretty strong, more than many users expect, esp. the later burgundy one.

AMF redid the Angles and next to the Groove and Liberator I can't remmeber more.
the Grove in fact does have more than just a pancake... just for the sake of correctness

the Angle has though

The Liberator from many people's telling is meant for o/u conditions but not really for dry lanes... the coverstock is just too dull. But that can be changed I guess.

Like someone on here has already said, the Neptune from Roto Grip is a good option.  While its not a true urethane in the sense of the word, I think its a good choice.  Its got a very low flaring core and a relatively weak coverstock.  Currently I have one and use it not only for when the lanes have dried out a bit, but for spares.  The ball is very smooth reacting and will never over react unless you are bowling on lanes with almost no oil.  Hits very well and is very controllable.

Definately is an option to think about.

i have a liberator, and it is a very good ball, i have shot some real good scores with it. Theyb all have been consistent too.

It is strong just like others have said. i needed to polish mine and now it works good on broken down mediums to medium lane conditions.
