Question
« on: February 16, 2005, 10:34:24 PM »
If your league allowed prebowling and you came in to find a person on the other team prebowled a high 700 series and a 300 game, would you be pissed? This guy averages around mid 180's has had only 1 700 series in his life- and that was a prebowl from last year!

I have balls to spare, how does that strike you?

Prebowl is supposed to be by a complete team.  I do not allow individuals to prebowl

We bowled last Monday night against a team that pre bowled and the 2nd game they had a 170 average bowler shoot a 278 and as a team they shot 1360 with handicap. That guy was over 100 over his average and 3 of the other bowlers where 25-30 over their average. I have seen this team bowl and they are not that good. They for sure had the night of their life....against us!! Great!!

If they only made a ball that would carry that da_n 7 pin (and I am right handed!!)

It is allowed in our league, you have 2 free ones that can be used anytime. Other than that you have to be working that night. You also have to notify either the league sec. or president by Wed. night by 6:30. League bowls on Sunday.

It's allowed by ABC rules. How about the 900 the ABC, that was pre-bowled.
I talked to Roger Dalkin about that...he said it was in ABC rules.
I still disagree with him.

My leagues voted in a rule that says prebowl must be done as a team, and no subs permitted.

I'd be fine with it if it was done by the whole team and not a single player.  As far as the 180 average bowler shooting a 300/big 700, I'd be wishing it was me that shot it and not him!!!!

Our league allows Pre-Bowling for a complete team, not individuals.  Also, I a team officer MUST be present during the entire time or the scores will not be accepted.
