Drillers in southwestern Illinois?
« on: June 28, 2006, 11:19:27 AM »
Hey everyone, I don't know if you've seen my forward pitch topics in the drilling section but I'm about fed up with my driller, he does not seem to want to agree with me even though I have given him proof of the sucess of the modern game, yet he does not want to go further than putting forward in the thumb. Refuses to bevel it like I want it, and when I suggest putting in a thumb slug of the same color in the all my balls he insists that the epoxy and actual shell of the ball is better, and that I should do away with thumb slugs and finger grips for that matter. He is not used to anyone challenging his knowledge like I have I think...so it's time to move on.

So...can anyone tell me a good driller in southwestern illinois? Or even st. louis missouri, I live right on the river. Thanks.

Great driller at Airport Plaza Lanes, Bethalto, Il.  Don't have the number handy but give him a call and make an appointment.  Ball will be exactly like you want it.

I actually know a guy who has his stuff drilled at airport, but I've never really heard anything good/bad about it. Will definently consider it, thanks.

His name's Justin Hale.  The number is 618-377-2131 I believe.  Tell him Tyler Timmins referred you as I'm a good buddy of his.  I don't know how long he will be there though, as the owner of what was Wood River Bowl is supposed to be buying out Airport as we speak.
