I have gone through a revolution here with my game recently to help combat the drier than average lane conditions and now I have another issue.
I changed pretty much everything to help with my over hooking problem on our lanes since they tend to fly once they turn the heat on in the building. SO I worked on cutting my rev rate, playing more up the back and even adjusted the coverstocks on most balls. I have sold a lot of my more aggressive stuff since I have no use for it.
Well, now that I have adapted to the shot, the shot has changed again and now there''s more oil than we have ever had!!! There''''s more volume up front and the backends are not flying like they had been. I don''''t want to redrill any of my other stuff since I really like the reaction I am getting out of them at other houses. I don''''t want to go back to my other release because it''s creating a lot of over/under for me and I am much more consistent with the new game. The Lunatic I have is close to the right ball but it''s not quite strong enough.
So what I am looking for is a suggestion to fill the gap. What I want is a ball to drill aggressively and play with my weaker release. I have a bunch of good stuff sitting in the shop and would like to see your opinions on which I should put holes in.
I have (pics

Lane 1 Gemstone....45 x 4-1/2 x 35...hole 6-1/2" on midline
Lane 1 Blue Death...35 x 5-1/4 x 75...hole on val 3" below PAP
Lane 1 Curve...25 x 5-1/4 x 45...no hole
900 Global Lunatic...pin under ring, cg out, low weight hole
Lane 1 Massacre...80 x 2 x 25...hole 6" on midline
Lane 1 Dynamo-X2...60 x 5 x40...hole 1" below PAP on VAL
Storm HyRoad...40 x 5-1/2 x 45...hole on PAP
Balls I could redrill the thumbhole with my new span:
Lane 1 Buzzbomb now drilled 60 x 4-1/2 x 40
Lane 1 G Force Nebula drilled 4x4
Lane 1 G Force Evolution drilled like Curve
Lane 1 Red Death....fully plugged, ready to go
New Balls:
Ebonite Mission
Brunswick C-System 3.5
Brunswick Evil Siege
Storm Reign of Fire
Hammer Jigsaw
Columbia Pure Swing
Ebonite Lanebreaker
Brunswick Wild Thing
Columbia Freeze
Hammer Widow Sting
900 Global Bounty Hunter Pearl
My own personal specs:
18 MPH, 350 RPM, RH
Lane conditions:
Old wooden lanes, heavier THS with the edge moved out to the 6-7 board now instead of the old 10 board. Oil applied to 39 feet, buffed to 42. Front to back taper is almost a 50% reduction (60 units in the center up front at 35 at the end of the pattern).
Suggestions?
