On alot of the Jr. bowlers tours I've been to recently to watch, and on some of the longer sport patterns even close to home I see the cherry vibe being pretty popular. It may be the bowlers throwing it making the ball look good, but its also probably got to do with it matching their game and the look they were trying to create on those conditions.
I have the emerald, and layed it out for similar situations. I haven't gotten to throw it much yet but it seems to be the smoothest pearl I have ever owned and is very versitile so far. It is labelled to be more skid snap than the other 3, but mine is drilled very tame and so far its been awesome.
