I took a BT seminar over SuperBowl weekend 2004. The house signed up too many students to allow BT to give enough time to each during the scheduled time slot. Unfortunately, I was one of the students that got almost no time from him. Fortunately, he knew that and spent the lunch break working with me one on one.
It took three weeks for me to get comfortable with the changes he prescribed. But after that third week I averaged 211 for the next 6 months (my average had been 194 pre-seminar). Then, I injured my sliding heel and achilles tendon, could not bowl for 3 weeks and did not practice for 2 months and I lost the feel somewhat. I am now right around 200 but starting to get the right feeling back again.
I know he is supposed to be in my area again in mid November and I am going to try to corral him for a tune-up session or two.
My recommendation, go for it IF there is no more than one student for every scheduled half hour of the seminar. I am pretty sure that they are limiting the number of registered bowlers now because he held a seminar in San Diego not long ago that was student limited. Of course, they may not be doing that everywhere so get a definitive answer from the house and ask for your money back if you show up and there are more people than your answer indicated.
