Dropping In
« on: March 17, 2015, 12:52:23 PM »
Just wanted to crawl out of my hole and say hello to all my fellow OG members.

Haven't thrown a ball in competition in a few years... itching to punch up a couple new rocks  ;).

Hope everyone has been well!

Yeah man, haven't really competed since I finished bowling collegiately and graduated in 2011. Up until about six months ago, I was working crazy hours and weekends in retail and bowling dropped to the bottom of my priority list. Now I have a consistent 9-5 M-F job and am thinking about lacing up again... at least recreationally ;D.

At the moment, the name "D Pat" doesn't ring a bell for me, but I do remember tenpinspro well. He drilled and sent me a ball of his free of charge one time and a couple years later, I was at Tracy CA, and went on to San Franscisco as I wanted to meet him. While there, he measured me and drilled up another ball for me that he had quit using and again free of charge. After that we ocassionally exchanged Emails from time to time.

It's been about 6-7 years, Brickguy! I believe we even did at least one or two transactions as well :).

The fog in my brain is clearing a we bit as now I am beginning to think that tenpinspro worked with you on making you a good bowler. Am I right here?

I haven't heard from Rick in a while now, but last I heard from him, he was drilling out of his garage.

How is he doing now, do you know?

That's what Rick likes to think ;). Just kidding, yes that is correct! I still see Rick occasionally, and he is doing well. He's still in the garage, but he always manages to stay busy. He's always been entrepreneurial-minded, so I think he prefers not being prisoner in an AMF center.
