Dry Lane Ball

I am in the market for a new dry lane ball. I am thinking of getting either a 900 Global Link, Hammer Emerald Green Vibe, or a Roto Grip Neptune.  Does anyone know how these balls compare?

I owned, thrown, and liked all 3 of these medium balls.

I don't think any of them are dry lane balls.  Bringing them down to 2000 or 4000 is something I didn't try.  Tekneek drilled me a razyr and it is below all of them, and very useful in my bag.

I have a Cherry Vibe and a Lane #1 Bullet.  No comparison when the lanes are really toast--the Bullet wins out.

I am not a Lane #1 fanatic but I do love this ball.  Unfortunately, it's discontinued.  The XXXL Starburst is their current dry lane ball.

many people went with the cherry for a dry lane ball.. probably cause it was Hammer's lowest hooking ball in production.. other than the widow plastic.

the cherry vibe is not a dry lane ball.. will it hook in oil?.. NO.. but it will cover the lane if it hits dry..

The Blue vibe may be a different story.. I wanted to get one but they didn't have any anywhere.. I now see that bb.com has it.  
That might be a choice but I don't know much about the blue.

I have a pin down roto mercury finished in 4000 abralon and polished,I wouldn't call it a dry lane ball as it's still fairly aggressive on dry but it's been a great lite oil ball.I think with the right layout and cover the pluto would make a good lite/dry lane ball.

I agree that the Bullet was a must have tourney ball. That ball bailed me out more than once.

My link is drilled with pin just above ring, MB right of thumb, approx 4.5x4, weight hole down on VAL. In OOB surface, the ball does skate on oil, BUT it makes a left turn when it hits the dry. With any kind of strong-ish layout on this ball, I would not dare consider it anywhere near a "dry lane ball". I am able to use it on our fresh THS (throwing 15 to 8) with no problems. Just for a point of reference, I throw the XXXL straight up 10 on the same pattern. I still think 900G should offer something between the Link and plastic.
