Dry lane ball

I'm looking for suggestions for a reactive ball for dry lanes.  I have com up with a couple options (see below), but would like to get your suggestion.

I have come up with:
1. Desert Hook
2. Tropical Breeze
3. Cyclone
4. Freeze

I'm hearing good things about the desert hook.  I use the the roto grip shout 2012.

I have a Freeze which is a good "light / medium" oil ball. On really fried lanes, even the Freeze can be too much. I have used my plastic spare ball for the 1st shot on those (rare) instances when the lanes are burned to a crisp.

I have no experience with the other balls on your list.

Tropical Breeze is one of the weakest reactive balls out right now that I have seen.  The Cyclone and the Freeze can both be a little too much on true dry and are definitely a step up from the Breeze.  I have not seen the Desert Hook yet so I can't comment on it.

Same for me.
I've tried the Tropical Breeze, Freeze and and am now using a Cyclone.
Cyclone and Freeze are for medium-light to true medium oil. Tropical Breeze os for light to medium-light oil.

Haven't tried Desert Hook, but BTM rated it for medium oil, which shocked me.

S30 with some friction will work on medium. The diff is much lower on the Breeze than on any of the other balls. 2.61 with .026 will work on medium, especially with how strong they lay out the balls. Put the pin 1 inch from your pap, laying that core down, and I bet it will work much better for drier.

Thanks for the responses so far!  Just to clarify a bit, I am wanting a reactive ball for burned up lanes.  Yes, I have a spare ball that I can throw on scorched conditions, but feel like I lose quite a bit of "punch" with the plastic.

I currently LOVE my Frantic on the toast.  I haven't run into anything too toasty for it yet. ... yet.

But Frantic is a medium oil at a minimum.
Are you highly speed dominant or are you just seeing plenty of oil?????

I love my red/silver Storm Mix for both dry lanes as well as corner pins. Ball can be thrown straight with ease or can be made to hook a few inches. It has less than 2" of track flare. More like 1" to 1 1/2".

900 Global Desert hook is my favorite dry lane ball. It's 5-6 boards less overall hook than my Cyclones, and is much smoother off the break point. pin carry is considerably better than my Motiv Recon Pearl, Which was my previous favorite for dry conditions.

My 505T and 300C have been good on the dry.

Any of their 3-5 series ball drilled conservatively would be a good choice.

Or their new Mx10/Hx05.

A 300C original, I can see on light oil; a 505T I cannot see on anything resembling light oil unless you are severely speed dominant.
