I didn't ask, but I know there was league last night, and then open bowling last night after that, and I came in when they opened, and either they didn't lay down new oil, or they completely ignore the outside. the ball i've mentioned not being able to get anything out of (gyro pro) was all over the place. I was able to slow myself down, and go up the 3rd board from the right as long as i didn't put a whole lot on it, it'd hit solid in the pocket, and i only left 2 5 pins the whole day.
i'd miss my mark waaay left occasionally, but i believe it was because i was a bit late with my push out, and so my feet were a bit ahead of my arm, and trying to catch up to that meant i planted my foot early, didn't get low enough, too much loft, etc etc etc..
so at least i know i have a ball for dry dry dry conditions.
high game was 186, which is the best game i've bowled since making my return.
as i began my last game though, two cocky teenagers came in and did the whole 'only put two fingers in the ball and crank it' thing, which i could put up with, until one of them called their rev rate 'english', and then i just chuckled to myself..
why did i post this? not quite sure, just glad that i've found at least one condition i can be successful in
