Balls that hook earlier AND are angular is a tough bill. For the most part you need a stronger cover (solid) to hook earlier, but "angular" usually requires you to be using a pearl reactive. You will need to decide which is more important to you.
Having said that, the Wild Card does give me a little more angle late than most solids that I've used, so that may be a good compromise. You should try a pin above the fingers layout to give you an even better chance.
The other option is to drill a pearl reactive, probably pin down, and then adjust the surface down to 2000 or so and see if that reads the lane early enough for you.
Everything depends on the actual conditions and lane surface you're on as well as your own style, so don't be afraid to adjust the surface on whatever ball you end up with.
