Title: Easiest THS you have bowled on
Post by: mainzer on June 16, 2008, 05:06:47 AM
Yesterday I bowled in Shawano WI a place Called Lakeshore Lanes I had a line from gutter to gutter, I could throw it anywhere with any speed and revolution and it was a strike. If I bowled their full time I would be averaging close to 250 game!

Doing that brought the question to me, What is the easiest shot you have bowled on?

There's a house down the road from me in Aberdeen, NJ.  It's pretty much a joke.  The shot is very predictable week in and week out, and the pin action is monstrous.  I haven't bowled league there since I was a junior bowler...maybe I should go do league there and see what I can average

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

There was a center here in Phoenix, AZ (closed now) that was super cake.  You could close your eyes and kick the ball down the lane and strike.  I averaged 230 one season for 96 games and I am not that good ha ha.

Hate to say this but Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park NJ has a pretty easy fresh THS.

I'm averaging about 240 on it and I admit I can be inconsistent and inaccurate.

I've bowled there twice, for the PBA tournies they had on Sundays.  The Cheetah there was like bowling no nothing.  The US Open wasn't quite as bad, but I was standing pretty far left by the end of game 3 (VERY rare for me).  The pins fly there too

Kingpin Lanes around here...
Top average last season was in the mid 240s. When we bowled there in a high school match, as a team we averaged around 220.
Its a complete joke.

I bowled the Kegler Classic (Bellefonte, PA) a few years ago while I was in school.  After the first day of the tournament, I was averaging 230 and didn't make it on the first page for the daily average recap....  For some reason, the heads held up really well that tournament and the scores were through the roof.

gladstone bowl in gladstone, missouri( a suburb of kansas city ). brunswick proanvilane synthetics. easiest house shot in the world. this place has more 300 games and 800 series shot there than anywhere. i can go there anytime and find "the shot" in two shots and average over 250 for 6-8 games.

Wait a sec!
It's not the shot that makes me bowl well! That's only the other guy!
When I bowl well, it's the bowler.
