No.  If you bid for a ball and it's at 50 bucks, and nobody else bids on it and the auction ends like that, you'll pay 50 bucks.  The only extra cost would be the shipping.  I've never heard of a price being increased after the auction has ended.

I do have one warning though.  Try not to be on there too much.  Pretty soon you'll find yourself constantly saying "Oh wow, look at that deal, I should get that" and you'll have a room set aside for all your bowling balls.

Yeah.  Most auctions have some kind of text that will say "payment required in 5 days" or something like that.  So you have whatever time they list, to pay for the item.

I'd have probably one or two balls at the most if it wasn't for Ebay and this website...

1,2,3,4,5...

ah heck, they're just such great deals.  Plus the more balls you have the longer they last!

Kyle: Chef, we need Butters to gain about 50 pounds, fast.
Chef: Well, if you want him to get really fat as fast as possible, one of you will have to marry him.
Stan: Marry him?
Chef: It definitely worked for every woman I've ever met.

Because I won another ball today, and I because I can look to the left of my chair and see half a dozen bowling balls staring at me.  And those are my "going to use someday" balls.

I remember when I had (3) NIB 15# Pearl Cherry Buzzsaws stored away for a rainy day.  That is, until someone offered me $230 for each almost a year later.  I am still kicking myself for selling them.  Not because of the money, but because I wasted most of it on other equipmet that I drilled and ended up just selling because they weren't half the ball the Pearl Cherry was...
