Ebay Bidding

I am wondering if this is rigged.  Check out who has bid on this and I think he is jacking up prices with different user names.  Any thoughts??

If he does this then it perfectly fine dont you think? The balls will probably still sell much cheaper than buying in off somewhere like www.bowlingball.com so why even worry about it? Be thankful you can find things cheaper on ebay vs other sites.

absolutely no way of telling with the way ebay changes the user names before the auctions end..

If you know for a fact that the one selling an item is also bidding on it, than turn him/her in.
It's called shill bidding and it is against ebay policy

Plus I'd like to know how he can raise the bid by only a penny?

I just learned that all what we look at are name with a letter, then 3 ***, then another letter, so what I am looking at protects the other bidders.  I will lock this topic so that no more confusion is taking place.  Sorry guys.

That is the new naming scheme that ebay is using, it helps hide the bidders name until after the auction ends.  For him to be doing what you say he is, he would need to have many different accounts on ebay, all linked to a different email address, and to different verifed credit cards.  You can't have an account and bid, unless you have verifed a credit card for it.  I can't see him going through all that work for $20 or $30 bucks.  Like the other said, there are many other online shops to get equipment from, sometimes you can get luck and get a good deal on ebay, other times its best to buy from an online shop.  Good luck...
