Ebay Final Fee?
« on: November 09, 2012, 01:09:14 AM »
Where on Ebay do they have the chart that shows how to calulate the Final Fee. I'm wondering what percentage it is or how exactly they calulate it.

Maybe I'm half crazy, but I can't find it at all.

Thanks!

Looks like they changed it to a calculator:

http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/Feecalculator.html

I ran through a calculation for a typical item.  Looks like they removed the insertion fee, jacked up the final value fee, and now have added a fee based on the shipping charge.

Basically 9% on your finial fee and your shipping. Why charge actual shipping if they are taking 9% of it? Pass on the savings to the buyer. Plus another 3.4% in paypal fees.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.
