It looks the best program out there for bowling bar none.
Its a weee bit expensive for me as I only want to use it for myself so I ventured out on the web to see what was best suited for me.
I found a program called V1 Home. you can get the free version from the net here.

Its not bad and you can get an update to use for split screen and overlays at a very reasonable cost.
I have purchased the update and its great for home use.

C Swing is a golf program that is close to bowlers map and a bunch cheaper. I am using that and PDSOFTEC Sports Analysis for my video analysis programs for myself.

I have that one as well - got the "pro" edition at $29.95 from Ebay. Haven't used it too much, but it seems to do the job.

        Have been using Bowlersmap Gold for a year, it is a terrific tool for analysis. This software provides video review at 60 frames per second providing excellent frame by frame review, as well as side by side comparasion capability. Yes, it is a little expensive if purchased for personal use, but for an instructor it will pay for itself.
