I love many of my slightly older ones.
Evolution Tour
Evolution Extra
Nighthawk Torque pearl(Just tried first time today on fried) too much but looks good!
(Anyone have a good shape Nighthawk Torque available in 15).
Loved the Hawk
Tore up some world team challenge and tour conditions with a TiHawk = Track Crunch out right now!
Like the Track Spell =(Nighthawk SPT)

Loved the Nighthawk reactive

Have seen the Fusion Hook Monster polished look great!

No one likes there bowling houses so why buy there balls. I RARLEY see any AMF balls being used by anyone here. Columbia 300, Track, Storm, Brunswick, Ebonite are the leaders here. Youll see quite a bit more D/T more and more everyday. Ill probably switch from C300 to D/T soon.

There are a few around me as well.  I drilled a Victory SPT for myself a while back...good ball for what it was.  We also drilled a Victory R for a customer...is was so/so.  The best AMF ball we've drilled out of there newer stock was the original Valor-P.  There are around 4-5 of these in our areas and I've seen some of the NEBA guys throwing them.

A guy on my Wednesday night league uses a Triumph AMP.  Very nice looking ball which gets good length and a ton of backend.  Keeps the pins real low.  looks like a winner.  It compares to my freak out

I love my AMF Victory (aka Fusion Hook Monster). It's way stronger than anything else I own, and gives me a chance to play inside lines, which is not my strong point.

One of my home centers has started featuring their new stuff.  The manager really likes the Triumph Amp, but I haven't seen him throw it yet.  I just hope they don't start using too many Columbia "esoteric" coverstocks.  KISS please.  Keep making good cores like the Nighthawk and Evolution series (I know Del is gone) with variations of Superflex.  Light load particles if necessary.

I still use a Nighthawk M2 as my primary ball and have an Angle Evolution Tour as my just-in-case flood ball.  Not exactly new stuff, but some of use AMF.

I don't know about their newer stuff, but I had an Angle Evolution Tour and also the Extra. Both great balls. I currently have a Hawk. It's a very nice orb.

I saw my first AMF ball here last night as a matter of fact.  Couldn't believe my eyes.  It was an older ball, but AMF nonetheless.  I think it was a Bullwhip or something like that.

There are a few guys using them around here. I actually like the looks of some of the newer stuff. Things seemed to go down hill for them after the evolution line, but I think that the Victory's and the Triumph's are fairly impressive.  I know that Dick Weber uses their stuff almost exclusively these days. I would pick one or two up myself if I didn't have too much stuff already.

BTM raved about the Scamp in the December issue:

"This might be the best ball on the market for the drier conditions. The hitting power is unbelievable for an entry level ball."

Sounds like a winner!

Shot my first 300 with an AMF purple angle 11 years ago.  Still have that ball but it's only good for super dry back ends with today's conditions.  If we don't see much AMF equipment out there, there aren't too many people to recommend it.. creates a snowball effect I'd guess.  (fewer people own it, so fewer people see and recommend it, so fewer people own it, so...)

Last night a pro I talk to said he went to league and bowled against a team wtih three guys with AMF Torque Pearls.  He said it is a strong ball in every part of the lane.

This is also my observation.  However, I've used it very little.

That's is some powerful core in there!

REgards,

Luckylefty
Powerful pearl coverstock too! I'll try on intended condition soon!  Was too dry the other day to see anything but that it was too powerful for the roadway I was on!
