Elk Grove Bowl jackpot....(update)
« on: March 31, 2009, 03:28:53 PM »
The $20,000 strike jackpot at Elk Grove Bowl, Elk Grove Village, IL. was broken tonight...

The reason to bowl there, has disappeared.

On Edit: There is still the $13,000+ strike jackpot leftover!

2nd Edit: Chuck Morris, Track staffer won the jackpot.
He's out of Detroit, MI.
Used a Kinetic Pearl, 1st 2 games, switched to the Rising SE last game.

Which frames did the person have to strike, and how much was the entry fee?  How long since the last time it was hit?  Our jackpot gets hit every 2 or 3 months, and the highest it ever got was $1000.00....

I'm sure I'll hear about it by Thursday nite when I bowl in MG.

That's the highest I've heard around here in a LONG time.  A few years back Mont Claire was up around $15k, I think that was roughly a season and a half to 2 seasons.

$1 a night.

1st game: 1-2-3 frames, 9th frame, fill ball in the 10th frame.
(If you throw the 1st strike in the 10th, you have to turkey).

2nd game: 4-5-6 frames, 9th frame, fill ball in the 10th frame.
(If you throw the 1st strike in the 10th, you have to turkey).

3rd game: 7-8-9 frames, fill ball in the 10th frame.
(If you throw the 1st strike in the 10th, you have to turkey).

I'm pretty sure I have it right.
If you miss in the 3rd game you get  $1,000.

It was higher, they split the pots . . . $20,000, and I think the 2nd is $13,000.
They are going to give the bowler a 1099...It's going to be interesting...
