5 man team state and national record broken

I was a eye witness of this record breaking feat.  The series shot by the team was 805, 772, 828, 748, and anchor shoots 794 which adds up too 3945. Accordinding to this score, they beat the national record by eight pins which was 3937 and beat their own state record set last year by a staggering 204 pins. They also set the state record by shooting 1349 scratch in one game which the previous record was 1339. Ive bowl against this team and its pretty much the best scratch team in our city. Glad to be a witness!!!

Naw on a house shot but it was alot of carrydown though and it was pretty dry. They did have about 85 school kids that was there before league. They just hit a good pair. Everyone on the other pairs didnt fair out to well.

If your bowling on THS, please only post if all members of the team bowl 900. Other wise it is not even news worthy.

Great bowlers bowling on easy conditions will produce crazy scores. The best bowlers in my area dont bowl on THS at all, in any capacity.

I don't think you should ever "blame" or discredit the bowler (s). You show up and do your best and whatever happens happens. That is excellent 5 man team bowling.

Regardless of what the conditions were, shooting scores like that is a phenomenal achievement.

They have a national record, do any of us!!!!!!

One should never down play this one bit, getting all 5 guys to click, and carry is not done every day.
Weather it was on a house shot or not these 5 guys should be pround of the accomplishment.

These guys on this team have bowled all over the U.S. As a matter of fact, the anchor has over 100 300 games shot and maybe 80 or 90 800's shot and his name is also in the record books as well(Frank Massangale look it up on bowl.com).  It mit have been on a easy house shot in one of the easiest houses in Tenneessee, but dont discredit the achievement. Like someone said earlier, its very hard to get five guys to click like that in one night.

To the pair of morons bashing these guys, isn't Holiday Bowl the ONLY center in Chatt?



No 4pin there are 3 centers here but everyone bowls at easy azz Holiday Bowl. I love the center but hate the easy shot. It doesnt make me a better bowler and the other two houses aint no better. i hate the fact that i have to got to Atlanta, birmingham, memphis, or wherever to get a challenge. Chumps around here dont want their ego's hurt!!!
