Who Gets The Most Carry

This thought just popped into my head and I figured it would be a good discussion..

I have seen people bowl with skill and hit the packet and destroy the pins.  Then I have seen people hit the pocket with no clue but with good speed and crazy spin and get the same results.  I have seen people miss the pocket completely  and still get great carry.  

I guess the question is does it really matter to be completely accurate and count each board the ball hits or just area bowl like most..

+1, but also add in the condition of the sideboards, lane surface, and many other variables.

One of the houses I bowl in (all wood) carries incredibly well for low-rev, low-speed guys and punishes most everyone else with solid back row taps. Those same guys go to other houses and can''t get the weak 10 out. Some houses just have certain characteristics that suit certain styles.

Over the long haul the more accurate player will score more strikes on a variety of conditions.

I will say that for some reason it seems like straight down the middle plastic balls seem to carry way better than I remember them carrying 15 years ago.

I think if you are playing an area you will have a better chance of scoring big more that just start accurate.. We shot for perfect but will take whatever it gives

in my case, everyone with lower speed and less revs than me gets all the carry xD
