Release change with curious results...
« on: November 24, 2021, 10:51:29 PM »
What does it mean if, after changing your release significantly it is measured at
1 and 1/2> and 3/4 up?
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Is your track lower than before?  Are you turning your wrist too early and your hand is going over too far (topping the ball)?

If that's your new PAP coordinates, then yowzers, that's a really low track. What was it before the release change?

It's not uncommon for your PAP to change after fit changes, I hurt my wrist and had to do some massive adjustments and went from a really high track to a very medium track, it took a bit to get used to and definitely made me adjust my layouts, but it's been good since.

@ MI 2 AZ, Yes! You nailed it! I deliberately changed my release to get a particular ball roll that I perceived would carry better at one odd house that I bowl at. And that was the PAP my driller said it changed to. I guess that's kind of a spinner release?

If you're coming over on the top of the ball, that would be a spinner release or close to it.
