Elite Espionage....early review
« on: April 06, 2013, 07:37:01 PM »
Early Impression,

Me, stroker 250 revs, play straight up the 10 board, 16.5 MPH. PAP 5

14lb 6 oz Elite Espionage.......Box finish Abralon 2000, Top wt 4oz, Pin 2-2.5

In order to get the ball to go long and snap, I had it drilled 2 inches from the CG (drilled through the pin). I left it at box finish.  THS..........fresh

Ball, indeed went long, longer than my Hy-road and Versa Max.  And then took a mighty turn left.......pretty ball.  Since I normally throw  15lbs., my ball speed was prolly a little higher than normal.

The good:  The ball splatted the pins.  I'm used to getting a lot of head-pin strikes with the head pin hitting the side wall and taking out a few pins.  The times I hit the pocket, the pins left the deck....quickly!  If I'm on I can see scoring quite well with this ball.  I tried both going up the 10 board and swinging it to the 5-6 with equal success.

Other thoughts:  If I missed right the ball came roaring back.  Missing left was very hazardous, I left a couple splits.  I will leave more feedback in a few weeks.  Any questions, PM me.
