So I ordered a Zone Classic,
« on: June 03, 2005, 04:12:55 AM »
And got a Red Pin by mistake.  I'm sure it was an honest mistake.  Should I hold onto it, or get the green that I originally wanted?  Is there a price difference between the two?  What's the performance difference?  I was looking for something for medium oil, a first ball out of the bag, and that's why I wanted the green pin.  Anyone have a NIB green pin they'd like to swap out for a red?

If a 'medium oil-first ball out of the bag' is what you after, then yes, swap it to green pin.

And yes, there is a price difference (Green worth $20-30 more)

Maybe I'll just ask him how much it would cost me to keep the red pin and get a green pin shipped to me as well.  Maybe he'll be nice because of the error!

So I know the red pin has a different coverstock.  I'm pretty sure I want the Green Pin, I'll just have to wait to hear from him.
