Dammit, Allen made the show
« on: November 15, 2003, 07:00:13 AM »
If there was ever a player I disliked on the PBA, it's this guy. You probably know what I'm talking about if you've ever bowled a pro-am with him like I have. Kills me to see him make it over someone like Healey, who I'd actually like to watch bowl.

Wow!!

Three great throwing lefties!!
Congrats to Eric Forkel for a comeback from devastating injuries.

And two of the best stylists on the right!  Included in them in my opinion the best pure striker on tour.  If he's not strikin right now he soon will be (Weisman).

And in remembering one of the funniest posts of all time on this site,
"One bag of ass"!!!

Not kind, not nice, not true? But too funny that I have been laughing about it for 3 years!

Perhaps you've never met the man.  One of the more helpful pros I've talked to.

I was watching the round of 16. Del Ballard commentated that after all of the strip and oil's through the week, a hang spot started to form on the right lane, and the left lane for some reason had a lot of hook room to the left to bounce off of.

Forkel has my money, even though i'm not a fan.

Hey, Mop's a Hammer guy, so I'd like to see him do well.
Also glad to see Forkel make the show- he's been close for a long time.

Ya what's wrong with PA? If a lefty is going to make a show, I 'm glad it's him, he's a great bowler and a decent guy with great intensity. Would you rather have bug eyes on there every week....zzzzzzzzzzz?

Too bad PA and Steelsmith have to meet in the semis. I picked both of them in the fantasy challenge. Would like to see Steelsmith win the title however.

Luckylefty,

ahh the my famous "bag of ass" topic, I will admit it looks like he can afford an iron this year.  I caught some of the show today but not all of it.  I don't really care to watch some guys on tour but patrick allen is okay, I am neutral on him.  I don't care for Chris Barnes, I would rather what a lefty with 2 revs at 13 mph blow away four righties than have to sit and watch Barnes.

PA is one of the best bowlers on tour and my favorite by far.  Whats wrong with him?  Hes an awesome bowler that is very methodical and takes care of business when its time.  Dont knock him because you sure arent making shows.
