Back to back 300 games
« on: April 16, 2013, 10:43:37 AM »
In our Monday Night Scratch Doubles league, Manteca California. James Riley had back to back 300's in games 1 and 2. Nothing cheap, just 24 excellent shots in a row. His first AND second 300 games this year even.

I know 300's are not a big deal these days, but back to back 300's are not a weekly event, at least not yet.  ;D

300-300 is an incredible feat. One of the few accomplishments that trumps an 800. Congrats to James for a night he'll remember the rest of his life.

Awesome shooting! Congrats to Mr. Riley on quite an accomplishment!

Just Please don't tell me he shot back-to-back 300's and didn't break 700.... :o
I will be so disappointed.  :)

Wanna make 300's more special, bowl in a wood house that might see 5-8 3's s and less than a hand full of 8's per season.

I bowl in Stockton as well, Thursday night @ West Lane in the Classic Scratch league.

There are a couple of other Stockton bowlers here.

im in a old wood lanes house
very little volume and a TON of friction
i bet there are 10+ 300's
and 5-6 - 800's

If you can spin it or have a 20 yr old blue hammer, you can score
I had a good look 1 nite a few months ago and shot 803 with my taboo spare ball
bet there are 8-9 people that are using them in that league (8- 3man teams)

One of my "co-workers" (guy that works for one of our pro shops but who I only see at special events lol), had the front 34 a couple weeks ago, left a 10 pin and made it for 889.  Back to back's are pretty rare.  I've been within a 4 pin one time, and a 10 pin the next, but I know very few people who have done it.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

I have been lucky enough to have gone back to back 300 games four times. Could never seen to get three together. My back to back have always been the 2nd and 3rd game, usually after a bad first game. Congrats to your buddy!

My personal back-to-back was in games 5 and 6 of a Kegel pattern tournament. I obviously had the benefit of lots of warmup and had plenty of time to get locked in. I appreciate pulling this off in the first two games.

Again, congratulations.
