Physical effects of uncomfortable bowling shoes?
« on: September 10, 2009, 01:42:19 AM »
I have a bowler on my team who had serious issues with his hip, back, and knee last night. Was wondering if having tight or uncomfortable shoes would cause these maladies? He throws about 17-18 MPH with 14lb. equipment and is physically fit otherwise.

Sure shoes can cause problems.   Go put on a pair of house rental shoes after you have worn your good bowling shoes and you will see a big difference.  Shoes are probably just as important as bowling balls if not more.

Shoes are a common overlooked peice of equipment in bowling.  I had a friend who made sure he changed his shoes at least once every 2 years.  Just like a ball wears out, shoes do too.
