Of all the people I see who wear those robo tech wrist braces, I really don't see much bowlers with at least 350 rpms. I see a lot of bowlers who rotate the ball the same way every time and it's impressive. But, never seen a bowler with high rev rate........well till recently...
Last tournament I've seen a guy with the Brunswick PowrKoil, though he's not close to averaging par, he has a good release - natural, lucky bastard. He's speed is about 17-18 mph, his hands are well underneath the ball, and he rotates that ball very close to the two hander on the same pair. It was impressive. He doesn't know what he has!
Too bad he kept playing the same area instead of moving in deeper, but watching him roll his ball was fun to watch. I really don't think He needs that brace, but his roll was like watching a radical video with the throw bot. He has a lot to work on like spare shooting and reading lanes. He's fairly accurate and when he gets to the pocket, the head pin goes left to right, or corner pins get body slammed by a flying 5 pin or 1 pin.
Just wonder how he generates so much rotation when this wrist is locked in a certain position. That "yo-yo" release would be impossible to do. He seems to get his power through he legs and that "one inch punch" at the release point. He adds the "umph" at the bottom. but still, that much rotation?? truly impressive.
