Six-Time PBA Tour Champion Dave D’Entremont Dies

The Professional Bowlers Association has learned of the death earlier today of six-time PBA Tour champion Dave D’Entremont of Middleburg Heights, Ohio. D’Entremont, 52, earned more than $1.3 million during a career that began in 1982. Known as “Double D†to his fellow competitors, D’Entremont’s most cherished victory was in the 1996 PBA Tournament of Champions (click here to watch the finals on YouTube:

So after looking at his stats, here are some of the highlights of his PBA career. 50 PBA 300 games, 6 PBA titles including 1 major (1996 Brunswick World Tournament of Champions). Best year was 1995 with 2 titles, the Harry Smith points leader award, and won $184,075 in earnings. Double D also made 33 career TV appearances, won over $1 million in his career, and also won 19 PBA Regional titles.
I still remember this match. DD vs Jimmy Keeth back in 1996.
