I know the feeling. This is my third year back to bowling a winter league. First was excited to be back but game wasn't there yet, year 2 knew what I had to work on to get where I wanted so it was a working year. This year I'm ready, with the retooled game and new equipment I have some goals and hopefully cash to achieve.

O.K., maybe I'm the unusual one, but I am excited also.  Why is that strange you ask?  Maybe the fact that I have been bowling for 26 years now.

No, I usually don't take off during the summer.  I have only missed one season ( due to a job change ) in all those years.

My mens league actually started up last Thursday night and I got off to a decent start shooting a 671.  Got a new release, new attitude, and several new goals to work on, and am looking forward to the challenge.

  I LOVE THIS GAME

I bowled all summer, and I was still anxious to get fall leagues under way.

I don't even know when my league starts.

I am going to try and ask this Saturday though.

I won't say I was excited for my leagues to start, although it was very nice to see all the people.

But then again, I've determined bowling is my form of heroin. If I go more then 5 days without bowling, I begin to get irritable and shake.

I'd like to keep my avg at 220 in 2 of my 3 leagues(3 different houses), just to prove to myself that last year wasn't a fluke.
